The Auction was characterized by several highlights! These included the "Seated", a bronze by the artist Georg Kolbe from 1926, which sold for 48,750 €. Also the following lot, a watercolor by Otto Dix entitled "Woman's Head, Head of a Dirne" was highly sought after and received for 41.250 € the Result.
Exciting bidding war for a object from David Burliuk
Continuing it was an oil painting by the Russian avant-garde artist David Burliuk. The object 'Storm in Spring', was created after a confirmation of his son Nicholas Burliuk from the time around 1910/11, so shortly after Burliuk's return from Munich to Russia, and shows a forest path from the surroundings of Moscow. The painting could exceed the limit price of 4.500 € by a multiple. for 30,000 € the oil painting finally found a new owner.
The 10-piece rainy day folder 'Look at it on a rainy day' by Friedensreich Hundertwasser was offered in the original wooden box and could be sold after some bids also in the fourfold bidding ratio how Picasso's 'Bathsheba'.
We are particularly pleased that after a long bidding war two gouaches of the Hungarian artist Istvan Nádler far above the proclaimed price of 600€ and 1000€ to an equally native telephone bidder for 12,500 € and 13,750 € were sold and thus find their way to their homeland.
