Autumn auction - demand for modern art unbroken!

Following on from our extremely successful spring auction, also the autumnAuction on 26. November 2022 took place again in the Caruso in the city hall Mülheim ! Under the hammer came Old Art, modern- and contemporary art, jewelry and watches, and interior.

Caruso - Stadthalle Mülheim, the historic-looking venue offered enough space for our numerous bidders on the spot, but throughout accompanied by telephone and online bidders! A total of 800 people participated in the auctions, especially gratifying for our house, including many new customers. The bidders expected a wonderful range of old art, modern- and contemporary art, jewelry and watches, as well as interior.

Hugo Mühlig - The milkmaid and the hunter

The auction began with the Old Art: In addition to landscapes, animal depictions and portraits in oil on canvas, two drawings by Otto Modersohn were offered, each of which for sold for twice the set limit price.

Design classics end a successful day

The conclusion was our Auction for Interior, with a wonderful selection of design classics, porcelain and Silver. In the Interior section we started in Bauhaus, could offer some pieces from Thonet, Cassina and Driade and ended this successful day with porcelain of the world famous brands Meissen and KPM , as well as silver from Robbe&Berking and Georg Jensen .
