Before it even comes to a Auction , for us as an auction house the work consists of customers to advise and works , which are offered to us, to examine, to estimate and at the end to the highest bidder sell.
Here, a large part of the work falls to the consultation, often customers (consignors) want to know more about the object and of course also the value. Hides behind the attic find a known artist? how much is the old furniture worth? Which price can be achieved for an inherited piece of jewelry? To bring light into this darkness is one of our core tasks and an essential aspect, which make up the charm of the auction business. So also in this case, in the estate of a former library director we discovered a small sensation.
