In our upcoming onlineAuction on the art of the 19th and 20th century we offer you almost 120 positions. The onlineAuction runs from 22.12.2022, over the holidays and New Year, until 8.1.2023. So you can discover at your leisure paintings, drawings, graphics and bronze sculptures of this era.

Paintings by Ivo Hauptmann, German Grobe & Charles Leickert

Called atmospheric paintings, which with their landscapes tell of the artistic
idea of romanticism, rural life and longing for the vast distance of the open
sea.

No less than three works from German Grobe start in the limit price at 400-650€. A beautiful object of the artist Ivo Hauptmann starts at 1.800€ and shows a white azalea, which is held in the characteristic brushstroke of the painter.

Carl Hilgers painted the 'mill on the rushing brook', which was placed in front of the mountains amidst the nature of the forest and is called out at 800, -. The winter scene with skaters by Charles Leickert is of course in accordance with our cold season and the upcoming Christmas to call and starts at 1,900€.

Warmer had it certainly the British artist William Alister MacDonald, when he painted the wonderfully atmospheric watercolor to the desert landscape of the Far East in 'Tunis', which for 650€ is called and from an extensive collection from the Ruhr area.

Sculptures form the conclusion

The sculptures are the conclusion of the curated onlineAuction. Here we would like to draw your attention on the
two peasant figures by Mathurin Moreau, which start at 950€ and the Florentine wrestling group by sculptor Fernand Barbedienne, which are called at 800€.
