Sell/Consign
To offer us objects, you have several options. For larger collections or very valuable objects, we also offer an on-site appraisal at your home.

You can send us photos directly via our online form and information . Just go to on our page - "Consign now" and click on "Offer objects".
Our experts appraise your art objects free and without obligation. To have your paintings appraised have you have several options.

for a first impression is enough it if you send us photos and existing information about the object. After that we will contact you and to discuss the further procedure.
After you offer us objects have, research our experts the current value, inform you about sales opportunities and suggest possible limit prices.
After that, we will conclude a consignment contract with you in which the agreed limit prices, commissions and terms and conditions are fixed in writing.
Your goods are insured with us against fire, water, theft or other damage from the time of takeover at the limit price.
No this can happen not . The limit price is set in consultation with you. This ensures that your object not can be auctioned below the previously determined value.
After the successful auction of your objects you will receive four to six weeks after Auction a statement by mail or email and a transfer to on to your bank account. You can check the auction results online after the Auction .
Should your object not be auctioned, it will go to post sale or will be offered in an upcoming upcoming Auction . This will of course be done in close coordination with you.
Buy/Auction
We offer you the possibility on different way and (e-mail, phone, Fax, online, on site) to participate in our auctions as a bidder! A detailed list of all possibilities you will find here!
You can request a detailed condition report including high-resolution digital photos for each object of the Auction by email (info@wettmann.com) or messenger. We guarantee the authenticity and the described condition of the auctioned objects.
Our buyer's premium (gross, incl. VAT) for live auctions is 25%, live online auctions 28% & online auctions 30%, of the hammer price.
You can pick up your auctioned items after Auction (passport auctions only) or from the following Tuesday with a two-week period during our business hours from 12.00 to 18.00 watch . To avoid waiting time, please make an appointment.
Payment is made after the Auction by bank transfer, Stripe, EC card or cash up to a total amount of 9.999 €. Should you wish to use another payment method, please contact us. Auctioned objects will be handed over to the buyer only after full payment.
WETTMANN Art Auctions
Our headquarters are located in Mülheim at Ruhr on the "Street of Millionaires" in an exposed position to Ruhr and the water station. You can visit our auction house Monday to Friday from 12.00 to 18.00 watch !
