The category of Old Art leads our Auction and begins with a colorful painting by Johann Grund, which shows mother and daughter in the costume of the Albanian mountains of Italy under an orange tree - a lovely picture, which is called at 8,000 €.
The famous painter Oswald Achenbach traveled to Italy and manifested the wonderful atmosphere of the Bay of Naples on his painting, which starts at 8,500€. Hubert Salentin's painting "The storytelling shepherd" shows in a scenic setting a little lesson in the open air and starts at 15.000€.
Diversity of Modernism: works from Pop Art to Surrealism
Classic Modernism is represented, among others, by Marc Chagall's sheet 35 from the series "Le Cirque", which will go into the auction at 2,800€. The eight-part work "Les huit péchés capitaux" by the Surrealist Salvador Dali should be mentioned here and will also start at 2,800€.
