Paris, France, circa 1860, dark lacquered wooden case, fire-gilt bronze mountings in rocaille forms, brass dial with enamel cartouches, black Roman numerals, blued hands, fixed pendulum, object verso marked and numbered, height 31 cm, function tested, starts, stops, in need of repair, case partially cracked. Farcot E. Paris patented the visible escapement in 1859.
